Help:Basic Article Template

From Messianic Judaism Wiki

In order to ensure consistent quality over time please make use of this basic article template' and also reference the style guide.

Title Case

Every article must have a good title: titles must be short and specific. If needed, resort to a Disambiguation Page to keep things running smoothly. Good titles use "Title Case" so as a rule of thumb every word in a title is capitalized. Exceptions exist: Templates imported from other projects are exempt from this rule. Further, some names begin with lower case letters as well because of the capitalization conventions of their source languages. A standardized capitalization convention is required for internal links to work well.

Initial Bold

Every article must open with the subject in bold text. This improves readability and makes the text look more attractive to the eye.

Categorization

All articles must declare their primary language as a category. Just add [[Category:English Language Articles]] to the bottom of the article and your done. If the language is other than English for some reason, replace "English" with the correct language name.
